We made it – another week in the books. It is so exciting to be continuing my mini blog series on shopping local. I believe in the value of shopping locally, and try to do so as often as I can because of the many benefits it has for my community.
What are everyone’s weekend plans? Whether it is apple picking, pumpkin picking, or going on a hayride, you are going to need the perfect Fall outfit to document it on Instagram and I have JUST the place for you.
Apricot Lane Boutique
Last month my friend Sara and I were wandering down Walnut Street in Shadyside and stumbled into Apricot Lane Boutique. It was love at first site. The girls working in the boutique were so kind and the clothes immediately caught my eye. Apricot Lane Boutique Pittsburgh is locally owned & operated by mother/daughter duo Debbie and Taylor. The store is filled with so many fabulous brands that are perfect for any occasion from casual wear to formal wear. The best part about ALB Pittsburgh is that they constantly have new arrivals! Every trip you make will be worth it because there will always be something new on the floor! Don’t worry, if you love a piece that you see on their Instagram but can’t make it into the store, send them a DM and they can ship it to you!
The Perfect Fall Outfit
To say that I am obsessed with these flare jeans and this sweater from Apricot Lane Boutique is an understatement. It is the absolute perfect fall outfit. The jeans are so comfortable and the darker wash makes them easy to dress up or down. I am a little on the short side (5’4) so I wore these cuties with my favorite pair of heel booties. The sweater is the most gorgeous shade of blue but has other multi-colored thread woven into it, too! My favorite part about this sweater is how it is shorter in the front and longer in the back. Next time, I am totally adding a fun belt to this look.
