It is so hard to believe that Summer is almost over and Labor Day is already next week! Holy smokes, this summer flew. It’s not the worst thing since we have Fall right around the corner and that means flannels, booties and pumpkin spice lattes 🙂

Happy Friday Darling,

This summer is flying by! Can you believe that August is coming to an end so soon? I hope that everyone is having an amazing summer. Mine has been so crazy and busy! Between studying, working and moving, I have barely had a minute to breathe.

This cherry top is so dang cute! I seriously cannot stand it. Y’all know I love embroidery so this simple t-shirt is absolutely perfect. I got this tee from the fabulous Magnolia on Main Boutique. This boutique is 100% mobile and the store is inside a camper. I found so many amazing treasures in this shop, so you will definitely be seeing more pieces from them! I paired this look with my favorite black high-waisted shorts, my red crossbody, and a red bandana. I told you guys I am all about the bandana this summer!

Happy Monday, Darling!

Todaisy I am talking about this amazing dress along with 3 other must-haves that you need this summer.

I posted this adorable dress on my Instagram a couple of weeks ago and got so many questions about it so I thought I would share this cutie with y’all! This dress is under $25 and is so comfortable. This is the kind of dress that you can eat as much Chipotle as you want and it doesn’t matter. And, if I am being honest, I ate way too much Chipotle in this dress and spilled queso all over it the first time that I wore it HAHA.

Summers are always crazy for us. So many places to go and people to see. I am currently at the Lake on vacation. Sadly, it has been pretty rainy so far, but we are hoping to see the sun here soon. Below are the 3 things that I couldn’t come to the lake without:

1. Yeti – This yeti is $29.99 and perfect for summer – I put my coffee in it this morning, and my vodka cranberry in it this afternoon!

2. A good book! Having a good book to keep in your bag is a must-have for summer travels. I recently read Big Little Lies, and it was so good. I definitely recommend it.

3. A beach towel! This pizza towel is perfect for the lake, beach, and pool.

Happy (almost) Birthday, America!

My week has been filled with lighthouses, sailboats, and lobster! These pictures were taken at the Windjammer Days Festival which is a huge sailboat festival in Boothbay Harbor, Maine.

My entire outfit is under $100! I am so obsessed with this bag. It is the perfect tote for the lake, the beach, and the pool! Pom details are so popular this year and add a fun element to this adorable drop waist dress. This is a perfectly patriotic look for the 4th!

It’s Finally Summer Darling!

Summer is here! Bring on the cookouts, concerts, and boating. Summer also means a reason to wear overalls and cute sunnies (yes, please!).

This look was brought to you in part by dry shampoo and caffeine. Have you tried the Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew from Starbucks? It is UH-Mazing! I have been drinking it so much lately that I thought I should try and make my own. I used this recipe and it actually turned so good!

I am really digging the square scarf look whether it is tied to a purse, worn in your hair, or tied around your neck. It is such a cute way to accessorize a look. Overalls are a must-have for my casual closet this summer. Wear this cuties patooties with your favorite t-shirt and sneakers and you are ready to roll!

Happy Monday!

This is the Mondayest Monday to ever Monday! Only 5 more days until Memorial Day weekend though and this dress could not be more perfect for the upcoming holiday no matter what your plans are! I got a lot of questions about my sunglasses, but am so bummed to say they are from last year and sold out! If I ever come across them again, I promise to link them for y’all!

My sister is having a housewarming party this weekend and I am going to make this sangria. It is so delicious and refreshing, I definitely recommend trying this recipe.

Hello Darling!

I have been blessed with so much travel this Spring! I was in Miami, Dallas, Chicago, and even went to Toronto for the first time. I apologize for not blogging as often but life has been so busy!

I wore this cute spring dress to a bridal shower and had so much fun! The host made these delicious peach bellinis.

It’s wedding season and the dress above is the perfect dress for a  bridal shower and it’s on sale woop woop! One trend that I have been particularly obsessed with this season is embroidery. The embroidered flowers on this dress added such fabulous details.

Hi Darling,

Okay, I have been having WAY too much fun this March. So don’t worry, I’m not feeling blue, just feeling this blue dress! I think I am meant to live in warm weather (sorry, Pittsburgh!). My first time to Dallas was so much fun. We went to the famous Gilley’s for such a fun event and the food and live country music were both amazing. With all of this traveling lately, I thought it would be fun to include the top 5 things I travel with:

1. Travel Steamer

So this is actually my sister’s but it is a MUST have for being on the go. This travel steamer easily fits in a suitcase and is a lifesaver! It really came in handy with 3 girls in one hotel room all trying to get ready.

2. Polaroid Camera

I have mentioned my camera in so many blog posts, but it is true, I always have it with me! It is my favorite thing to stick in my backpack to commemorate my trips and travels.

3. Slip on shoes

This whole month I have been wearing these shoes through the airport! These are so cute and trendy, but also a piece of cake to slide on and off when going through security

4. Makeup removing wipes

I absolutely swear by these Neutrogena makeup removing wipes for being on-the-go. I never go on a trip without them!

5. Backpack Cooler

I just bought this backpack cooler and I canNOT wait to use it! The “cool”est thing about it? It floats! So much fun for camping and boating. I will definitely report back on how it works.

Happy Monday, Darling!

Who else had problems waking up this morning after the time change yesterday? Okay, maybe just me because Mondays are the worst!

Miami is truly my favorite place to be. There is so much to do whether you want to hang by the beach, shop, ride bikes, or eat amazing food. I am doing all of the above! Especially the eating part…

How CUTE is this Kate Spade crossbody purse?! Truly so in love with it. It is perfect for Miami or any beach vacation and I cannot even tell you how many compliments I have gotten on it.  And the back of this dress with the bow?! Adorable. So, In the pictures above I am wear the dress with a pair of wedges, but for a casual dinner I paired it with a pair of sneakers and a denim jacket so it is definitely versatile.

Happy Flawless Friday, Darling!

March is Finally here! Which means that Spring is almost here 🙂

It is Read Across America Day! This was always my favorite day in elementary school because I love Dr. Suess so much. I don’t know about you, but I love to read. Unfortunately, I rarely have time to do so! I like to read books when I know that a movie about it is going to be released. I like to picture the actors and actresses as the characters in the book. Is that cheating? On my list, I intentionally read three of the four books to watch their movies, but have yet to watch them! So, in lieu of Read Across America Day, here are the past four books that I have read:

Scrappy Little Nobody – This is Anna Kendrick’s memoir and it is such a funny read! If you are a fan of Anna Kendrick, I definitely recommend it.

The Circle – If you like Netflix’s Black Mirror, you will definitely like this book. The Circle is now also a movie with Tom Hanks and Emma Watson.

Girl on the Train – Okay, I think that every one has read this one. This book wasn’t my favorite but I did enjoy the different point of views!

Gone Girl – I think everyone has read this one, too! If you like a creepy mystery, this one is for you.

Lean In – This book is next on my list! Lean In was inspired by Sheryl Sandberg’s TED talk about women in leadership.

Okay, I think I am going to watch the movies this weekend!
